Mebane Scholar

My Name is Zoie, and I am a Mebane-Scholar. I am a junior from Winston-Salem, North Carolina majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Teaching English as a Second Language and Applied Understandings in Global Education. I love being a Mebane Scholar because I get to work with an amazing mentor teacher from the Charlotte area. Each semester, she helps me work towards goals that I set. This semester she is helping me learn about behavior management. I plan to student teach in Fall 2024. After I graduate in Spring 2025, I plan on beginning my Master’s in Reading Education at UNC Charlotte.
