Camille Walters

My name is Camille Walters, and I am a senior from Charlotte, North Carolina, majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education and minoring in Spanish and Reading Education. I am grateful to be a Mebane Scholar because it has allowed me to engage with schools, students, literacy experts, and families in the Greater Charlotte community.  I have gained valuable training opportunities in evidence-based literacy programs. I am currently student teaching at Blythe Elementary School. After I graduate in Spring 2024, I will be an Exceptional Children’s (EC) teacher at Niner University Elementary.
