Ricciutti awarded by IAAOC

Each year, the International Association of Addiction and Offender Counselors, a division of the American Counseling Association, acknowledges a counselor educator who demonstrates excellence in teaching in the fields of addictions or justice-involved counseling.
Assistant Professor of Counseling Natalie Ricciutti was selected for the Educator Excellence Award for her commitment to rigorous pedagogy and the inclusion of evidence-based and innovative clinical content in her coursework. She was presented with this award at the ACA National Conference earlier this week.
Ricciutti specializes in addictions counseling and is part of the Addictions Counseling concentration faculty for Charlotte’s M.A. in Counseling, providing counseling students with the necessary information and education about substance use disorders, process and behavioral disorders, and the treatment of both.
