Tynaiza Murphy

Tynaiza Murphy currently serves as an Academic Advisor for the Teacher Education Advising and Licensure (TEAL) Office. She has been a member of the TEAL office since 2024. Prior to working at UNC Charlotte, Murphy was an elementary school teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for 5 years and an international school teacher in China for 3 years. Murphy is a UNC Charlotte alum and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2016 as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from UNC Charlotte in 2020.
