Ayah Alkhatib is a Master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at UNC Charlotte. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Religious Studies. Currently, she serves as the Program Assistant for both the Master’s in Counseling and the Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction programs.

Coming from an Arab-Palestinian ethnic background, Ayah hopes to integrate her cultural perspective and combine it with her passion for mental health advocacy, particularly in serving minority communities. As a former HR Specialist and Student Care Representative, she also values building meaningful connections and supportive relationships.
