Camille Walters

Camille Walters is a third-grade educator at Esperanza Global Academy in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and a proud Charlotte native. She graduated from UNC Charlotte with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education, with minors in Reading Education and Spanish. As a former Mebane Scholar and Teaching Fellow, Camille developed a strong foundation in educational leadership and service. She is passionate about supporting diverse learners, creating inclusive learning environments, and strengthening connections between schools, families, and the community. Camille is excited to serve on the MELC Advisory Board and contribute her perspective and experiences as an educator.
