Mebane Scholar

My name is Emily Yount and I am a Senior Mebane-Scholar from Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. I am majoring in Special Education- General Curriculum. I couldn’t be more honored to be a Mebane Scholar due to the many opportunities, resources, and extra support it gives me as a future educator and current student. I am currently a student teacher at Coltrane Webb Elementary School in a K-5 resource classroom. When I graduate, I aspire to become a K-2 resource Special Education teacher!
