Jennifer L. Merry

Jennifer Merry is the Administrative Support Associate for the Mebane Early Literacy Center. She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education in ‘04 from UNC Charlotte, her Master’s in School Administration from UNC Charlotte in ‘23, and her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on Curriculum and Educator Development, in ’26 from UNC Charlotte.

Merry comes to UNC Charlotte after spending her time as a band director in Kannapolis City and Cabarrus County Schools. She has one daughter, Jeana, who is a ’22 graduate of UNC Charlotte. She is a member of the National Association of Music Educators, the North Carolina Music Educators Association, Women’s Band Directors International, the National Association for Co-Teaching, Lions Club, and has a Life-Time Girl Scout Membership.
