Katie King

Katie King is a New Teacher Support Coach with UNC Charlotte’s New Teacher Support Program.

King was a North Carolina standards author for the most recently adopted K-12 Social Studies Standards. She is a licensed K-6 Elementary Teacher, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She also holds a Masters Degree in K-12 Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University. When she is not coaching, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and growing in her knowledge of educational best practices.
