Director of Diversity and Inclusion

Initiated in 2019, Dr. Tehia Starker Glass became the inaugural Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Cato College of Education. A tenured Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Elementary Education, Dr. Glass focuses her research, teaching, and service on including culturally responsive teaching and anti-racism in K-12 and higher education classrooms. She co-created and is the program director of the Anti-Racism Graduate Certificate Program. In her role as DDI, she facilitates Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice initiatives in the college.
